Mindfulness and Self-Compassion Workshop - May 23rd with Renée Burgard



2-Minute Mind Check and Gusto have teamed up to host an experiential workshop where you will learn Mindfulness and Self-Compassion for Stress Reduction and Wellbeing from Renée Burgard, LCSW - Corporate Mindfulness Developer, Trainer and Therapist.

You’ll leave this workshop with a toolkit of simple mindfulness practices that can help you relieve stress on a daily basis.

Suicide: The Ripple Effect San Francisco Premier - May 31



Join RAMS, Inc. (Richmond Area Multi-Services, Inc.) for the screening of Kevin Hines' Suicide: The Ripple Effect. The film chronicles the story of Kevin Hines, who at age 19, attempted to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. Since then, Kevin has been on a mission to share his story to help others find recovery and stay alive, and has become the a prominent suicide prevention speaker and advocate. The film features suicide prevention experts, and also shares the personal journeys of survivors of suicide.

Organized by local mental health advocate Rebecca Massie the screening will take place at the AMC Kabuki 8 Cinemas, on Thursday, May 31, 6:45 p.m.
